Claire’s Records – Singles only

When this blog was finally live, I alerted my good friend Stuart from Harlow. He’s the one who should really be writing a music blog. He’s got knowledge spanning decades, watches every re-run of the Top of the Pops and has an impressive collection of music biographies. When Stuart saw Richard’s Records, he asked me if I’d be creating my own musical archives, something like Claire’s Cuts. It didn’t feel right at the time. I’ll be immersed in psychotherapy, I thought. But now it seems perfect. I sold my singles collection decades ago, and I have always regretted it. Even though a man in Camden gave me a  rather good price for my Morrissey singles.

So, in an attempt to reclaim my past, I ‘m going to start collecting again. In a way, this will be a form of therapy. I want to form new associations with old tunes. Something like that. I’ll see how it goes.
