I’m not going to try these right now, which is a bit flaky, I know, but I may come back to them later. As the book says –
“Practising these skills regularly can also reduce your overall emotional vulnerability by helping you feel calmer and less burned out. They help our bodies recover from stress and intense emotions, even when we are not in crisis. Additionally, the more you practice them in general, the easier it will be for you to use them when a crisis does occur.”
